FREE National Helpline for Perinatal Depression & Anxiety


PANDA supports women, men and families across Australia affected by anxiety and depression during pregnancy and in the first year of parenthood. PANDA operates Australia’s only National Helpline for individuals and their families to recover from perinatal anxiety and depression, a serious illness that affects up to one in five expecting or new mums and one in ten expecting or new dads.

Gidget Foundation Australia

Need Video Counselling?

Gidget Foundation Australia offers a free video counselling service for new and expecting mums and dads who are experiencing perinatal depression and/or anxiety and are unable to have a face to face consultation.

Up to 10 free* video counselling sessions are available to parents through the Start Talking program.

You will need a referral and a mental health care plan from your GP to use the service.
